- Page 13 Before using the Wireless Load Pin take some time to read this manual and familiarise yourself with it. The Wireless Load Pin is supplied with four L91 Energizer® Lithium Ultimate AA batteries – these need to be fitted before use, IN A SAFE AREA ONLY.
- Page 14 IN A SAFE AREA ONLY, remove the central battery cover screw with a flat blade screwdriver. Fit batteries and refit cover making sure all seals are intact. Warning: Failure to fit batteries correctly may seriously damage LP. If you are using your Wireless Load Pin with a SW-HHP Atex - see manual SU3558. - Page 15 Once the batteries are fitted the Wireless Load Pin is ready for use. Before using the Wireless Load Pin make sure its capacity is suitable for the task being undertaken. The WLL is shown on the load cell itself. When using the Wireless Load Pin please ensure the operator is positioned at a safe distance but within range and in the direction of the wireless output, which is cone shaped and emulates outwards from the blue front panel.

Most load pins are made to order and this guide is generic and so standard engineering and rigging practices must be followed in addition to this guide.

At no point should the customer try to open or repair any load pins or part of load pins, including the cable gland, without prior consultation with Straightpoint technical advisors.

Avoid use within 20-30 minutes of rapid changes in temperature, for example moving the device from a cold vehicle into a warm room. The change in temperature can affect the accuracy of the device.

After this date, it is recommended the device is recalibrated by Straightpoint or an approved calibration laboratory.
