5. Operation
5.1. Turning on and adjusting volume
To turn on the radio, turn the VOL knob to the right. To increase
the volume, turn the volume knob further clockwise.
5.2. Choosing the right country setting
The AE 6199 NRC radio supports all current European CB radio
standards. The factory default setting is "E".
Procedure for switching the country setting:
• T urn off the radio
• P ress and hold down the A/F button (AM/FM)
• N ow turn on the radio
R elease the A/F button
•
• N ow use the UP/DN buttons to select one of the country
settings "d, EC, Po, UK or E"
• T urn the radio off and then on again to confirm your
selection. The radio uses the selected country setting from
now on.
