Operation / Function
L Insert glue sticks into the heating chan-
nel at the back.
L Rest applicator on wire stand (placing
a piece of cardboard or wood under-
neath it if necessary).
L Let glue applicator heat up for approx.
8 minutes (GM 1007-LT) or 6 minutes
(GM 1007).
L Press trigger and apply glue to one side.
L Firmly press together the materials
being glued, correcting alignment if
necessary.
L Final bonding strength is reached after

L Spot gluing is recommended on long
items with large surfaces.
L Rigid foam (e.g. polystyrene) can also be
glued without a problem. Merely remem-
ber to apply the hot glue on the base
surface and not on the polystyrene.
L When gluing textiles or similar materials,
it is recommended to apply the hot glue
in "wavy" lines.
L After use, set tool on stand
and let it cool down.
