CTR310 - INSTRUCTIONS
Electronic board controlling a 230 Vac single-phase asynchronous motor destined to sliding gate automation.
Definitions
Start (START) - Contact N.O.
Input to be used to require the opening or closing of the gate.
Pedestrian start (only by remote control)
Input to be used to require the partial opening of the gate. Pedestrian start control is not influent during a Start cycle until the closing step end
(closed gate). During a Pedestrian start cycle, Start control is always working.
Stop (STOP) - Contact N.C.
It prevents the start of working cycle. If the Stop command is supplied during the motion, it provokes the immediate stop of the gate. The gate
remain in stop as long as the contact is opened. After a Stop command the following Start command always starts an opening cycle. A Stop
command supplied during the pause time interrupts the work cycle.
Photocell (FOT) - Contact N.C.
It is an optical barrier intended to intercept and signal the passage of people or vehicles along the path crossing the gate or in the area nearby it.
The photocell is affecting but during closing step and in the pause time. If an obstacle darkens the photocell while closing it provokes the stop and
motion reverse after 1,5 sec.. The intervention of the photocell during the pause time reloads it extending the period before automatic closing.
Photostop (FS) - Contact N.C.
It is an optical barrier intended to intercept and signal the passage of people or vehicles along the path crossing the gate or in the area nearby it.
If an obstacle darkens the Photostop during the motion or in the step previous to the work cycle start, it determines a temporary stop of the gate.
The blinker signals by a fixed light the anomalous condition. As soon as the obstacle is removed an opening cycle starts, except when the gate is
fully opened. In that case a closing cycle will start. The intervention of the Photostop during the pause time reloads it extending the period before
automatic closing.
Opening stroke end (FA)
Input N.C. to which to connect a device signalling when the gate has completed the opening stroke.
Closing stroke end (FC)
Input N.C. to which to connect a device signalling when the gate has completed the closing stroke.
Safety rib (COSTA)
Input to which to connect a device that, in case of impact against an obstacle, causes the gate stop and, after a 1,5 sec., gate reverse for 2 sec. It is
possible to connect resistive-type safety rib (8K2) or with electric contact N.C.. Automatically the card detects the type of connected safety rib.
When you wish to change safety rib type, you should take off power supply mains from the card and then give it again after the replacement.
An obstacle pressing the safety rib in the step previous to work cycle start causes a temporary stop of the gate. The blinker signals with fixed light
anomalous condition. As soon as the obstacle is removed work cycle starts.
Blinker (LAMP)
Card gives a command on/off (blink) to a lamp intended to signal danger situation caused by moving gate. Blinking logics are the following ones:
Fast blinking (2 blinks/sec.): signals opening step.
Slow blinking (1 blink/sec.): signals closing step.
Fixed light: signals that the gate is stopped waiting the obstacle obscuring the photocell, photostop or the safety rib is removed.
Fast flash (2 flashes/sec.): signals the lack of connections on safety rib input.
Motor (MOT)
Outputs for the open / close command of the motor connected to the gate.
Courtesy light (CORT)
Continuous control for the lamp which lights the area around the gate. The lamp is lit for approx. 2 minutes after the cycle has ended.
Electric lock (SERR)
Impulse control for the electric lock release.
Signalling Leds
DL1 - Programming Led (red): It switches on in programming step and during gate motion.
DL2 - Stop Led (red): It switches off at a stop command in terminal board.
DL3 - Opening stroke end Led (yellow): It switches off when the opening limit switch is activated.
DL4 - Closing stroke end Led (yellow): It switches off when the closing limit switch is activated.
DL5 - Photostop Led (yellow): It switches off when photoelectric cell is obscured.
DL6 - Photocell Led (yellow): It switches off when the photocell is obscured.
DL7 - Start Led (green): It switches on at a start command in terminal board.
Trimmer (RV1)
It regulates torque of the electric motor. Clockwise rotation increases the thrust of the gate. During the soft stop step, the regulation is disabled.
Programming keys
P1 - Allows to insert/cancel the remote control codes in the memory
P2 - Allows to set the pause time
P3 - Allows to set the working time of the gate
Dip-switches
DP1 - Automatic closing (ON = Step-by-step with automatic closing
DP2 - Condominium logic (ON = Step-by-step
DP3 - Immediate closing (ON = Step-by-step with immediate closing
Technical features
Slow-down (soft stop)
At stroke end the unit reduces the speed of the gate (Soft stop function) so to avoid strong impacts.
Radio receiver
The electronic card CTR310 contains a 3 channels radio receiver. The receiver can memorize up to 100 codes. The channel 1 of receiver acts as
Start, while the channel 2 acts as Pedestrian Start. The channel 3 switches on the Courtesy light for approx. 2 minutes.
Electric power lack
Following to a temporary electric power lack, at recovery the first Start control determines an opening cycle.
Opening with Timer
If the gate opening is controlled by a Timer, it is necessary to enable Condominium working logic.
OFF = Step-by-step without automatic closing). DP2 must be ON.
OFF = Condominium mode)
OFF = Step-by-step without immediate closing). DP2 must be ON.
