Thank you for choosing TRIANGLE loudspeakers. We all wish you many years of enjoyable listening.
To fully take advantage of your TRIANGLE loudspeakers, we suggest that during installation you pay
attention to the following instructions.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE TRIANGLE SUB HORIZON
Thank you for choosing the caisson de grave TRIANGLE SUB HORIZON. Le SUB HORIZON is a
specialised device for reproducing fréquences graves. For universal use, it is equipped with an
amplifier with an integrated active filter. This feature enables the SUB HORIZON to be connected to
any acoustic speakers in the Triangle range or others. Finally, the SUB HORIZON is especially
recommended for use with an Audio-Video system, which it will transform, thanks to its spectacular
performances in the low part of the audible spectrum.
Before connecting to your installation, disconnect all equipment. Only connect your system again when
you are sure that all connections have been made correctly and that volume controls are turned down
to a minimum.
If you have any questions concerning connection to your installation, we recommend you contact your
approved supplier.
Connections :
The SUB HORIZON can be connected to your Hi-Fi or Audio-Video system in a number of ways.
a) Low level inputs ∅ (recommended with Audio Video amplifier)
These Cinch inputs enable connection to the « PRE-AMP », « LINE » or « Sub out » outputs of an
amplifier. A special circuit makes the sum of low signals from the right « R » and left « L » channels.
It is also possible to connect only one of the inputs of the SUB HORIZON (for example right « R ») to
the « SUBWOOFER OUTPUT » of an Audio-Video amplifier.
See diagram n°3
b) High level inputs ∪ (recommended in stereo mode)
These high level inputs enable direct parallel connection to the speaker outputs of the amplifier. If this
is an Audio-Video model, you must connect the SUB HORIZON to the amplifier outputs corresponding
to the « MAIN SPEAKER ».
See diagrams n°1 and n°2
c) Low level outputs ∩
These outputs enable the entire modulation (without filtering) to be sent to a second SUB HORIZON for
example.
d) High level outputs ∪
