SUPERLINE-ST
For Use Only With DANA Insulin Pumps
The SUPERLINE-ST is an infusion set with a stainless steel needle. A needle is inserted through the skin,
at 90° with the skin, into the subcutaneous tissue. The plaster of the SUPERLINE-ST holds the needle in
place.

General Precautions for All Infusion Sets
1. Replace the reservoir and the infusion set every 3 days as recommended by your health care professional.
2. The reservoir and infusion set are intended for single use only. Do not reuse either the reservoir or infusion
set. Reuse can cause serious illnesses (Septicemia, HBV, HVC, etc.) from bacterial infection.
3. Do not use the reservoir or infusion set if the package has been damaged, inadvertently opened or wet.
4. The shelf life of the reservoir and the infusion set is 3 years. Please check expiration dates regularly and
dispose of any expired accessories.
5. Do not disconnect from your pump for more than one hour without discussing with your healthcare
professional on how you should compensate for missed insulin. Carefully monitor blood glucose levels
during periods of disconnection and after reconnection.
6. Check frequently to make sure the needle remains firmly in place as you may not feel pain if it pulls out.
The needle must always be completely inserted to receive the full amount of medication.
7. During use, if adhesive strength is unstable or want to fix the tape more firmly, may be recommended
using overpatch.
8. If the infusion site becomes inflamed, replace the set, and use a new site unitl the first site has healed.
9. Replace the infusion set if the tape becomes loose, or if the needle becomes fully or partially dislodged
from the skin.
10. Avoid contact with acetone or alcohol, such disinfection products may result in abnormalities or damage
the plastics.
11. Store infusion set in a cool, dry location at room temperature.
12. The SUPERLINE-ST is to be used by patients who have received training from a certified diabetes
educator and/or insulin pump trainer and by advice from a physician.
Intended use for SUPERLINE-ST
SUPERLINE-ST infusion sets are intended for the subcutaneous infusion of insulin from a SOOIL pump.
Contraindications
The SUPERLINE-STcan only be use with DANA insulin pump, so it should not use for any purpose other
than to use an insulin pump. The infusion set is neither intended nor indicated for use with blood.
Adverse Event Reporting
If you experience any malfunction or deterioration in the characteristics and/or performance of a device
which, directly or indirectly might lead to the death of a patient, or to a serious deterioration in their state of
health, report to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the Member State in which the user and/or
patient is established.
