TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
If you experience a problem with this unit, check the chart below before calling for service.
SYMPTOM
No sound.
AM or FM, no sound.
AM/FM, poor sound.
iPod mode, no sound.
CD mode, no or
poor sound.
Can't select iPod/CD/
Tuner mode using
FUNCTION button.

CAUSE
Volume is
set to minimum.
Not in Tuner mode.
Station is not tuned
properly.
FM: Wire
antenna is not
extended.
AM: Unit is not pos-
itioned correctly.
Incorrectly connected.
Not in iPod mode.
Not in CD mode.
Disc(s) inserted incorrectly
Dirty or defective disc(s).
Moisture condensation
on disc(s).
Audio cable plugged into
AUX IN jack.

SOLUTION
Increase volume.
Press the Power button,
then the FUNCTION
button to select Tuner.
Retune the AM or FM
broadcast station.
Extend FM wire
antenna.
Rotate unit until best
reception is obtained.
Check the connection.
Press the FUNCTION
button to select iPod.
Press the FUNCTION
button to select CD.
Reinsert disc(s) correctly.
Clean or replace disc(s).
Wipe disc(s) with soft
cloth.
Unplug the audio cable.
