Basic Cleaning
Follow the directions below to clean your appliance after each use:
1. Ensure your appliance is unplugged and cool.
2. Open the hinged lid.
3. If remaining, throw away the used paper filter and coffee grounds. Remove the Filter Holder.
4. If remaining, discard the used pod or coffee grounds. Remove any adapters from inside the filter basket.
5. Wipe the outside of the appliance, power cord, and Carafe Plate and the inside of the Filter Basket's lid with
a soft, damp cloth.
6. Wash each removable piece of your appliance according to the chart on the next page. Rinse and dry all
removable components before replacing them the appliance.
NOTE: Do not use abrasive cleansers or scouring pads on this product. Never immerse the appliance in water.
7. Check the brewing needle (A) for buildup before each use. If the brewing needle is clogged, use a needle, paper
clip, or similar tool to remove excessive buildup from the hole in the brewing needle.
