Q. How do I get support for DroboPro/DroboElite?
A. If you did not register your DroboPro or DroboElite during setup, first
go to
www.drobo.com/registration

Base and Best Practices to help you get the most from your
DroboPro/DroboElite.
Q. How can I shut down DroboPro/DroboElite safely for a prolonged
period?
A. Click the "Shutdown" button from the Advanced Controls -> Tools
tab of Drobo Dashboard or by clicking the power button on the rear
of the DroboPro/DroboElite. The front and rear power lights will turn
off once the DroboElite has safely shut down. You can now safely
disconnect power and store DroboPro/DroboElite for a prolonged
period.
Q. Can I place my DroboPro/DroboElite on its side?
A. Do not place your DroboPro or DroboElite on its side during normal
operation. If you place your DroboPro or DroboElite on its side, there
is a chance the drives will disconnect. For optimal performance and
protection of your data we recommend that DroboPro/DroboElite
remain in its normal horizontal position during normal operation.
Q. Can I use DroboShare with DroboPro or DroboElite?
A. No, DroboShare only works with 1st and 2nd Generation Drobo. It's
not compatible with DroboPro or DroboElite.
