Channel 2 Controls - TGM20, TRM30 and TRM40
The Gain control regulates the preamp level to allow more or less distortion. Turn up for more
distortion, down for less. The Volume control affects the overall loudness. Tip: you can set an
individual channel to have more (or less) distortion enabling you to select rhythm or lead for solos.
Equalization
High: Cut or boost your guitar's high frequency information as desired.
Mid: Active midrange equalization, with cut and boost.
Low: Control your desired amount of bass response.
Presence Control - TRM30, TRM40, TBM10 and TBM25
By using this control, you can add a bit of edge to your sound.
Reverb Control - TRM30 and TRM40
Adjusts the amount of reverberation. When in the counter-clockwise position the signal will be dry
(without any reverb). As you turn the control clockwise, the amount of reverberation increases.
Chorus Control - TRM30 and TRM40
This adjusts the amount of Chorus. When in the counter-clockwise position the signal will be dry
(without any chorus). As you turn the control clockwise, the amount of chorus increases. A stereo
"rotating sound" effect can describe the chorus effect. The effect can be adjusted by the Depth
control and the speed (Rate). The preset effect can be switched on or off by utilizing the switch.
Line Out Jack - TRM20, TRM30, TRM40 (stereo), TBM10 and TBM25
The Line Out jack provides a preamp signal to drive the input of a P.A. or recording mixer.
Phone Jack
The phone jack serves as a stereo headphone output jack that mutes the speaker.
Low Boost - TBM25
The Low Boost Switch adds more sonic low-frequency presence required for Bass Players.
Effects Send Jack - TRM30
The Effects Send jack provides an output to drive external effects at a more suitable level. The
signal is post-Tone Controls and pre-Reverb, which means that you can shape your sound
before they go to your Effects (returning the signal to your TRM30 to utilize the internal Reverb).
Effects Return Jack - TRM30
The Effects Return jack provides an input for external effects. The signal is post-Tone
Controls, therefore you can shape your signal prior to processing by your effects. The
Reverb Control does have an effect on the return signal, so you can use Reverb to add
space to your External Effects.
Reverb Footswitch Jack - TRM30 and TRM40
The Footswitch jack turns the internal Reverb On or Off. You can purchase a footswitch at
most music stores. (Yorkville's IFS-1A is recommended.)
Channel Footswitch Jack - TRM20, TRM30 and TRM40
This Footswitch jack switches your input from Channel 1 to Channel 2. You can purchase a
footswitch at most music stores. (Yorkville's IFS-1A is recommended.)
Speaker Output Jacks - TRM40 Only
The Speaker Output jacks accept an 8-ohm or 16-ohm speaker load only. The corresponding
internal speaker will be automatically disabled when the external speaker cable's plug is
inserted into the jack.
