Remarks in respect of the determined use

3.1 Operation of the tool

Operation of the tool trough qualified staff (installer/plumber). During the process the tool should be used by only one
person.
First you have to select the right sliding forks for the intended application.
To insert or change the sliding forks please follow our installation instructions 353733000.
The sliding cycle is started by actuating the trigger twice (double-click). The sliding cycle is characterized by the clo-
sing motion of the forks. By the sliding cycle please follow our installation instructions.
Attention
Make sure that the sliding forks sliding forks are completely pushed in and safely engaged with tightened knurled
screws.
Attention
Make sure that the tool is back to the starting position (optical control). If not, push the retract slide.
Attention
A necessary condition for a permanently leaking free connection is that the sliding cycle has to be completed
respectively the sliding sleeves has been pushed onto the fitting completely and the pipe has to be visible in the
inspection window.
Attention
The assembly of gas pipes in gas distribution lines is prohibited unless the system provider gives an explicit per-
mission to use this tool on special gas fittings.
Attention
The sliding process can be interrupted at any moment by releasing the trigger.
Attention
The user has to check by optical means whether the pipe is visible in the inspection window and the sleeve is pu-
shed over the connection.
