Inserting Nails
1. Before inserting nails, disconnect the
stapler & nailer from the compressed
air supply.
2. Depress the security lever (5) at the
end of the magazine (8) (figure a). A
spring mechanism will push out the
magazine slider.
3. Insert a strip of suitable nails into the
according guidance (at the corrugated
side). The heads of the nails face up
(figure c).
4. Push in the magazine slider as far as it will go until the security lever (5)
audibly snaps in.
You can read the fill level at the magazine window (6).
Using
Load the air stapler & nailer with suitable staples resp. nails as
described above.
The air tool has to be provided with lubricating oil during operation.
Before each use add oil through the air inlet (3) or use an oil-fog
lubricator. Also read the chapter "Lubrication".
The air stapler & nailer is equipped with an air quick coupling adaptor
(3). Use a flexible hose to connect the air tool to the compressor. Set up
a pressure of approx. 6 bar on the compressor and check all air
connections for leakages.
The tool is equipped with a safeguard against accidental release. It can
only be triggered if the tool head is pressed onto the workpiece which
releases the trigger lock (7).
Firmly set the tool head on the work piece. The trigger lock (7) is
released and the unit can be triggered. If necessary, use your second
hand to press the machine head. Use more force to press down the
device onto the workpiece in order to achieve better stapling results.
Attention: Do not cover the air outlet openings (1) with your hand.
Pull the trigger (4). The staple or nail is driven into the work piece.
Avoid blank shots in order to reduce wear of the tool.
After use, before refilling with staples or nails and before maintaining
the unit, first disconnect the air tool from the compressed air supply.
