-Precooked ingredients first need to be cooled down before adding them. NEVER fill the jug above the max.

ingredients, be careful not to burn yourself on the jug, the damp or the spatters. If needed you can put a kitchen
towel over the lid to protect yourself.
-If you want to add some extra ingredients, lift the measuring cup from the lid. Add the ingredients and put the
measuring cup back.
-Grinding meat or coffee beans, beating up egg white, making dough and chopping chocolate is not possible with
a blender.

IV.
USE OF THE CONTROL PANEL
1. MANUAL SPEED SELECTION
To turn on the appliance, turn the switch on the ON position. The START warning light flashes (blue). To select
the desired speed, turn the switch between min and max position. Blue lights will turn on at chosen speed
positions.
To let the appliance run, push the PLAY/STOP button (keep pushing for a while!). This function can be
interrupted by pushing the PLAY/STOP button again.
To turn off the appliance completely, turn the switch to the OFF position.
2. PREPROGRAMMED SPEED FUNCTIONS
To turn the appliance on, turn the switch on the ON position. The warning lights on the 3 speed function buttons
will flash. Push on the button for the desired function to start it. The warning light of the selected function will
be lit constantly now. The orange warning light on the PLAY/STOP button will be lit. This function can be
interrupted by pushing the PLAY/STOP button again.
To turn off the appliance completely, turn the switch to the OFF position.
* Ice Crush button: Use the Ice Crush button to crush ice as mentioned here above. The appliance will crush the
ice at a preprogrammed speed. If you don't stop it yourself, the appliance will stop automatically after 1.30
minutes.
* Smoothie button: Use the Smoothie button to prepare delicious smoothies as mentioned here above. The
appliance will mix at a preprogrammed speed. If you don't stop it yourself, the appliance will stop automatically
after 1.30 minutes.
* Pulse/Auto Clean button: Push the Pulse button for a extra powerful blending.The Pulse/Auto Clean function
will run as long as you push the button.
You can also use this function to clean the glass jug rapidly (=Auto Clean). Fill the glass jug with water and push
several times shortly on this button.
