5. Plug the Hot Drink Maker into a 120 volt, AC outlet only.
6. Press the power button. Your Hot Drink Maker will begin to mix and heat. When
the mixture reaches the "perfect" temperature, the appliance will automatically
turn off. At anytime during the mixing and heating process, you may press the
power button to turn the appliance off. Note: A full 21 ounces takes
approximately 6-9 minutes.
7. To serve, unplug the cord after the Hot Drink Maker turns off. Twist the cover to
the open position, then pour to serve.

Note: Different instant cocoa, coffee, and tea mixes may vary from the quantities
shown in this chart. Use the quantities specified on the packaging of the specific
instant hot drink mix. Adjust amounts to your preference.

A small amount of smoke and/or odor may occur upon heating due to the
release of manufacturing oils – this is normal.
•
Some minor expansion/contraction sounds may occur during heating and
cooling – this is normal.

The West Bend Cocoa Crazy Hot Drink Maker should be cleaned after every use.
Note: Do not wash any parts in the dishwasher and do not immerse the appliance in
water or any other liquid.
1. Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet. Allow the entire appliance to
cool before cleaning.
2. Pour out any remaining drink mixture.
3. Without immersing, wash the interior of the mixing container by pouring a combination
of mild detergent and water into the mixing container. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do
not use any abrasive scrubbers on the nonstick heating plate.
4. Wash the cover with mild detergent and water.
5. Wipe the exterior of the motor base and mixing container with a soft, damp cloth.
6. Periodically sanitize mixing container and gasket. Add 1 cup of water and ⅛ tsp.
unscented bleach to the mixing container. Put cover on mixing container then run
the appliance through a complete cycle. After cycle, empty mixing container and
let air dry.
This appliance has no user serviceable parts.
