3. Operation
3.1 First use of the EPG 45 Power Tool
Insert the supplied battery (Type: Li-Ion battery 18V) into the guidances of the battery foot of the
power tool EPG 45 until the securing slides click in place.
3.2 Precautions when using the battery and charger
The charger (Type: C Li 18) is designed for 120 V or 230 V AC 50-60 Hz, depending on the
version (see the voltage rating on the charger nameplate). The batteries are supplied partially
charged and need to be charged before use. To charge the battery, connect the charger to a wall
outlet and plug the battery into the charger.
