Description
Before connecting a three-phase motor to a three-phase circuit, it is
necessary to match the "legs" or windings of the motor to the phases of
the circuit. This ensures that the motor will rotate in the proper direction
when power is applied to the circuit.
Use the 5123 Motor Rotation Indicator to identify the legs of the motor;
use the 5702 Phase Sequence Indicator to identify the phases of the
circuit.
