. Press and hold DELETE (base) or CHAN/delete (cordless handset). The display asks
DELETE ALL? for several seconds.
. Press DELETE (base) or CHAN/delete (cordless handset) again, within ten seconds,
to erase all records. The display shows NO CALLS.
Caller ID Errors
If there is an error in the transmission of information to your Caller ID phone, ERROR
shows in the display.
If you have not subscribed to Caller ID service or it is not working, NO DATA shows in
the display.
Memory
The cordless handset and base each have their own separate memory storage areas.
Store ten 15-character names and 4-digit telephone numbers in the handset memory,
ten 15-character names and 4-digit telephone numbers in the base memory.
NOTE: Press *TONE/EXIT (base) or TONE */exit (cordless handset) to
exit memory.
Storing a Name and Number in Memory
1. Press the MEM/CONFERENCE (base) or MEMORY/conference (cordless handset) button.
. Press the desired memory location button (0 through 9 number keys) or use the
REVIEW or NEXT button (base) or the VOL/CID (- or +) button (cordless handset) to
scroll to the desired location. If the memory location is occupied, the stored name and
number displays. If the memory location is unoccupied, EMPTY shows in the display.
. Press the MEM/CONFERENCE (base) or MEMORY/conference (cordless handset)
button again. The display shows ENTER NAME.
4. Use the base or cordless handset touch-tone pad to enter a name (up to 15
characters). More than one letter is stored in each of the number keys. For example,
to enter Bill Smith, press the key twice for the letter B. Press the 4 key times for
the letter I. Press the 5 key times for the letter L. Press the 5 key times for the
second letter L, and press the 1 key to insert a space between the first and last
name. Press the 7 key 4 times for the letter S; press the 6 key once for the letter M;
press the 4 key times for the letter I; press the key for the letter T; press the 4
key twice for the letter H.
