NOTES:
• During operation, you may check the run time scale as
located on the side of the Tank, it indicates how long the
humidifier will run at Low and High setting.
• Allow up to 30 minutes for the filter to fully absorb
water and for the unit to produce invisible moisture.
• The 15 holes on the bottom right of the unit is the
humidistat sensor.
• The actual run time stated on the run time scale on the
tank may vary slightly due to the amount of water in
the reservoir of the humidifier.
Tank Empty Light
Once the tank is empty, the Tank Empty Light will
illuminate. Turn off your humidifier and unplug it from the
electrical outlet. Before refilling, empty any residual water
from the base and the tank (follow the daily maintenance
instructions). Then follow the Filling Instructions to refill the
tank and put back into the humidifier to begin operation. The
Tank Empty Light will go off.
REMOVING FILTER FOR CLEANING
Through normal use, waterborne minerals and sediment
become trapped in the wick filters. The harder your water,
the greater the amount of minerals in the water, and the
more often you will be able to monitor the life of your filters
in your humidifier.
The Change Light will illuminate to monitor the life of both
wick filter and the optional demineralization cartridge. When
the Change Light illuminates it is time to wash the filter
To remove filter for cleaning or replacement, follow the steps
below:
1. Turn the unit off and disconnect from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove tank and main housing to access the base tray by
turning the lock knob to the unlocked position.
3. Remove the wicks from the wick holder.
4. Follow the filter washing procedure below

base and ensure the blue grommet is inserted into the

FILTER WASHING PROCEDuRE
1. The water tray should be cleaned when you clean the filter.
The water tray is a convenient way to carry the filter to
prevent dripping.
2. Mix 1 gallon warm tap water with 1 teaspoon mild
antibacterial dish washing detergent.
3. Fully submerge filter in detergent solution for 15-20 mins.
4. Dunk filter in detergent solution several times then gently
press to release the soapy water. Be sure not to wring, pull
or scrub filter as this will degrade the filter.
5. Run under cool tap water until there is no soap remaining.
Some discoloration may still be visible, this is normal and
does not affect performance.
6. Gently shake or press the filter to remove excess water.
7. The filter can be put directly into the humidifier while still
damp if it is to be used right away, or allow filter to dry
completely if humidifier is to be stored.
If your filter becomes damaged, lost or you would like to
replace your filter, replacement filters are available at your
local retailer or Consumer Service at 1-800-253-2764.
Some models are equipped with 24-Hour Auto Shut-off Timer
feature. This allows you to program your humidifier to shut
off automatically after running a defined time interval.
