CALIBRATION TEST
Horizontal Plane:
• Install your RUBILASER RD2 some 50 m.
from a wall and activate it in order to project
the horizontal plane on said wall.
• Use the laser detector to find out where the
plane projects on the wall at point h1.
• Without moving the tripod, turn the instru-

ment 180º in order to find out the point h2
where the plane projects on the same wall,
using the detector.
• The distance between h1 and h2 should be

less than 10 mm.

Laser pointers:
• Look for two walls that are separated by
thirty and a half meters.
• Place your RUBILASER RD2 on its side
some 30 m. from wall B (0.5 m. from wall A).
• Activate it and mark the half-way point of
the projected laser pointer (hA, hB) on
each wall.
• Move your RUBILASER RD2 to 0.5 m. from
wall B (30 m. from wall A).
• Do the same as before marking hA' and
hB'.
• The distance between the two points
marked on wall A (hA-hA') and the two
points marked on wall B (hB-hB') should be
less than 6 mm.
