Areas to be avoided
– Do not install the detector in closed areas or rooms closed by doors,
walls or other obstacles which may block the flow of gas towards the
detector.
– Do not install the detector in rooms where the temperature can drop
below -5°C and in rooms where it can rise above 35°C.
– Do not install the detector in small rooms or environments where spray
bottles, aerosol, ammonia or other volatile substances are used.
– Do not place the detector directly on the gas appliance.
– Do not install the detector over sinks or in particularly humid rooms
– Do not install outdoor.
Warning
Air drafts caused by fans, open doors or windows, can prevent "contact"
with the detector. Therefore avoid such conditions.
The user might smell gas before the device gives the alarm.
