STORAGE TIPS
Always pack products to prevent different foods from contaminating each other.
•
Wait for anything cooked to cool completely before storing it (for example: soup).
•
To ensure proper air circulation, never cover the shelves with paper or plastic sheets.
•
Do not put hot food or evaporating liquids inside the refrigerator.
•
Store only fresh foods, cleaned and wrapped in appropriate food packaging or containers.
•
Limit how often the door is opened and, in any case, do not leave the door open for too long to prevent
•
the refrigerator's temperature from rising.
Arrange food so that air can circulate freely around it.
•
We remind you that a thawed product must be eaten as soon as possible and must never be refrozen
•
unless it has been cooked after thawing.
Freezer compartment
Your appliance is labelled "4 stars"
products and make ice cubes.
When first starting the appliance, we recommend waiting three hours before putting fresh products in the
freezer compartment. If the appliance is already running, this waiting period is not necessary.
Make sure you pack your food well before freezing, so that it retains all its flavour and does not ruin the
other products.
The storage period of frozen foods depends on the type of food. Refer to the instructions on the
packaging.
STORAGE TIPS
Bottles and cans should not be placed in the freezer compartment. They can burst when the contents
•
freeze, and sodas can even explode! Never store soda, juice, beer, sparkling wine, etc. in the freezer
compartment.
Do not put ice cream or ice in your mouth immediately after taking them out of the freezer compartment.
•
Very cold ice can freeze on your lips or tongue and hurt you.
Do not put hot food inside the freezer.
•
Do not touch frozen foods with wet hands. The ice could stick your hands to the food.
•
Do not use or place electrical appliances (for example electric ice cream makers, blenders, etc.) in the
•
refrigerator and/or the freezer.
Place frozen food in the freezer as soon as possible after purchase.
•
Thawed food should not be refrozen.
•
If you wish to use the maximum usable capacity, you can remove the drawers and place the items
•
directly on the freezer pipes.
