h) Wireless camera brightness sensor function
When the sensor (16) detects that the ambient brightness is too low (<2 lux), it automatically
activates the night vision mode. A faint click can be heard as the IR filter is disabled. The picture
is then only displayed in black and white (similar to conventional surveillance camera).
An integrated wireless camera IR light allows recording the surroundings even in absolute dark-
ness. Thus, there is no need to leave annoying light in the children's room on.
i) Voice transmission between wireless camera and monitor
Noises recorded via the built-in wireless camera microphone (24) are output directly via the
monitor speaker (15) (if necessary, turn up the volume as described in section 9. d).
However, voice transmission is also possible in the other direction from the monitor microphone
(9) to the wireless camera speaker (22).
Briefly press the " " button (1) to enable or disable voice transmission. When voice transmis-
sion is activated, a small microphone icon appears at the bottom left of the monitor display.
This function can be used e.g. to calm the baby down without going into their room and turning
on the light there.
When the wireless camera is too close to the monitor (e.g. during a functionality test),
loud feedback noises can occur! In this case, cover the speaker or microphone e.g.
with your hand or finger and turn down the volume on the monitor.
j) Playing music via the wireless camera
Briefly press the "
camera speaker. Press this button again to end playback.
