d) Notes on rechargeable batteries
• The monitor has a built-in rechargeable battery which cannot be replaced.
• The rechargeable battery must not be short-circuited, tampered, disassembled or
thrown into fire. This may cause a fire or explosion!
• Never leave the battery to charge unsupervised.
• If you are not going to use the product for a long time (e.g. when it is stored), turn
off the monitor (no standby mode). Be sure to charge the battery about every 2-3
months to prevent detrimental deep discharge.
