These instructions contain information on the safe use of the
NEEBOWS Knee Pad Set and the NEEBOWS Elbow Pad Set.
Please read these instructions carefully prior to the first use and
keep them in a safe place.
Use
This product was developed exclusively for children and
intended for use in cycling and roller sports. This product
is a sensible addition to safety equipment for both be
ginners as well as those with experience. The pads come
in pairs.
Safety
Here at woom, a key priority is ensuring the best possible
safety for your child, which is why we ensure that our
products go above and beyond existing standards,
safety features, and criteria.
The pads meet the requirements for personal protective
equipment (Regulation EU 2016/425) and are tested in
accordance with EN 14120+A1: 2007-09 performance
class 2 by an independent testing institute. The European
standard specifies two performance classes: class 1 for
normal roller sports and class 2 for acrobatic roller sports.
The pads are also CE certified. You can find the CE mark
on the care label attached to the product; the EU decla
ration of conformity is available at www.woom.com.
The right care
Clean the pads using a soft brush or cloth. Apply mild
soap and water to remove any ingrained or coarse dirt.
If necessary, the pads can be washed in the washing
machine according to the care instructions on the label.
Service life
Some natural ageing will occur; this is dependent on the
conditions the pads are used in and how they are stored.
Store the pads in a dry place, away from direct sunlight
and sheltered from the weather.
The pads may be used for a maximum of eight years
from the date of production (see the care label on the
product). Replace the pads with new pads four years
after first use.
The right size
To get the most effective protection, it is imperative that
you have the right size and a perfect fit. For optimal pro
tection, the pads should have a snug but not restrictive
fit to allow full blood flow and range of movement. When
trying on the pads, your child will usually know straight
away whether they are tight enough. If there is any dis
comfort, we advise sizing up.
You can find the right size using our size table:
Knee pads
The crucial factor in determining the proper size of the
pads is your child's weight. First, measure the circum
ference of the upper leg, taken four fingerwidths above a
slightly bent knee. Compare the circumference of the leg
with the values listed in the table. If your child exceeds
the maximum weight of the size indicated, select the
nextlarger size.

Elbow pads
The crucial factor in determining the proper size of the
pads is your child's weight. First, measure the circum
ference of the upper arm, taken four fingerwidths above
a slightly bent elbow with a relaxed biceps. Compare
the circumference of the arm with the values listed in the
table. If the child exceeds the maximum weight of the
size indicated, select the nextlarger size.

Putting on and taking off
No more mixups! Both sets of pads are interchangeable
and can be worn on either the left or right side.
To put on the pads, fold down the red silicon strip
1
so that it is facing outward (see diagram 1).
Pull the pad up over the foot/hand and hold onto
2
the outwardfolded strip while pulling up the pad
(see diagram 2).
Pull the pad up until it is centred over the knee/elbow
3
(see diagram 3).
Fold the silicon straps back into position so that the
4
pads fit snugly (see diagram 4).
NOTES
Make sure that your child does not put the pads on
upside down – the red silicone strip goes on top.
Make sure your child uses the knee pads for the knees
and the elbow pads for the elbows – the pads are
labelled.
