Assembly
1. Drive the bottom part of the ground spike vertically into the ground at the
desired location. Be careful not to damage the ground spike. If you use a
hammer or a similar tool to drive it in, use a suitable intermediate layer to
avoid damage. Connect the upper and lower parts of the ground spike with
the screw and nut provided.
2. Slide the cross braces through the rotor axis and attach the wind sails and
secure them with the included nuts. Please note that two different types of
wind sails are included. The wind sails that are intended for mounting on the
struts further up have a sticker with an arrow pointing upwards.
3. Insert the assembled upper part into the ground spike. The top part must
rotate easily and a knocking sound should be heard when rotating.
Remove the X-Repeller burrower repeller from the location in strong and stormy
winds or gusts of 60 km/h and store the item in a wind-protected place. Check
the news and national weather services for weather information and warnings.
Regulation of the Impact Strength
The impact strength is preset at the factory to achieve an optimal result. If you
want to adjust the strength of the impact, move the snap ring on the striking
piece of the striking mechanism using suitable snap ring expanding pliers. The
further the snap ring is moved towards the end of the hammer, the louder the
sound of the X-Repeller.
Cleaning
▪ Clean the device with a slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the device in
