3. Fixing points for attachment to a solid base (e.g. work top)
4. Secure the sharpener for chisels and planer blades on a solid
base before using it
5. Screw which holds the stone on the drive shaft
Using
 Secure the sharpener for chisels and planer blades with screws
or screw clamps to a solid surface.
 Deactivate the hammer function of your power drill. Attach the
power drill to the drive shaft. Before use, make sure that the
chuck of the drill is located correctly and securely on the drive
shaft.
 Fit the blade to the magnetic tool holder with the bevelled side
facing down. Slide it forward until it just touches the stone
(figure A).
 Run the drill at high speed.
 For best results press the blade lightly against the rotating stone
and swivel it a few times to both sides (figure B).
 Do not swivel it off the stone during the sharpening process.
Maintain continuous contact with the stone at all times.
Replacing the Stone
A spare stone is included. Replace the stone as follows:
Grasp the worn stone with one hand and use a screwdriver to turn
the screw that holds the stone on the drive shaft counter clockwise
from the shaft.
Replace the worn stone with the spare stone and secure it with the
screw.
