Read this manual thoroughly before using and save it for future reference
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Before using the electrical appliance, the following basic precautions should always be followed:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label of
the vacuum cleaner.
3. Do not leave vacuum cleaner unattended when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when no use
and before servicing.
4. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
5. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used near children.
6. Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacture's recommended attachments.
7. Do not use with damaged cord or plug. Do not use vacuum cleaner if it has been dropped or
damaged, left outdoor or dropped into water. Return appliance to a SINGER service center
for examination repair or adjustment.
8. Do not pull or carry on cord, use cord as a handle, close door on cord, or pull cord around
sharp edges or corners. Do not run vacuum cleaner over cord. Keep cord away from heated
surfaces.
9. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
10. Do not handle plug or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
11. Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked. Keep free of dust,
lint, hair and anything that may reduce airfl ow.
12. Turn off all controls before unplugging.
13. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
14. Hold plug when rewinding onto cord reel. Do not allow plug to whip when rewinding.
15. Unplug before connecting the hose.
16. Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot
ashes.
17. Do not use without dust bag and/or fi lter in place.
18. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a SINGER service center in order to
avoid hazard.
19. Do not place an appliance on or near a hot gas or on a heated oven.
20. Do not put any objects into air openings. Do not use with any air openings blocked and do
not restrict airfl ow. Keep all openings free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce
airfl ow.
21. Keep hair, loose clothing, fi ngers and all parts of body away from openings and moving
parts.
22. Do not use to pick up fl ammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas
where they may be present.
23. The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injuries to per-
sons.
24. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
