Switching on the clock face
illumination
Press the Light/Snooze button
to switch on the clock face illu-
mination for about 4 seconds.
Special aspects of the alarm
clock
• The alarm signal is repeated
after 4 minutes (Autosnooze)
unless you press the
Light/Snooze button or the
Wake-up alarm ON / OFF but-
ton.
• The quartz mechanism of the
alarm clock has a backup power
supply.
The clock will continue to ope-
rate for about 2 hours if there is
a power failure.
The wake-up alarm function
and the illumination are deac-
tivated during this period.
• The clock face illumination is
also activated when the alarm
is triggered.
• As well as the green marking
of the Alarm ON / OFF switch,
the Snooze button is also illumi-
nated when the alarm is trigge-
red.
• You can select between two
different alarm types.
The alarm type is altered as
described below:

Switch the alarm back on --
The Snooze button flashes to
indicate that the second alarm
type has been selected.
