5. HOW TO CHARGE
Before charging or recharging your appliance, please read the
sections Important safety instructions and Warning for the
rechargeable battery carefully.
The device can be recharged in 2 different ways.
- DC 12V charging : Using the included adaptor, plug the cable into
the DC 12V input of the device and plug into the power outlet. The
charge indicator lights red during charging.
- Solar charging: Using the solar panel, simply orient the lantern so
that the solar panel is facing the sun's rays. The charge indicator
lights red during charging.
Once the battery is fully charged, the charge indicator turns green.
Then disconnect the DC power cord, your device is ready to use.
When the battery is discharged below the limit level, the device turns
off to protect the battery life. Then recharge the device. The device
may heat up slightly during charging. Do not use the device while
charging, the light switch must be set to OFF (O). With overcharge
protection function. Charging time : 10-13 hours.
