HOT ZONE
The teppanyaki grill plate is equipped with a 'hot zone'. This zone becomes hotter than the rest of the
teppanyaki grill plate – up to 250°C – and can be used for cooking food quickly, while the rest of the
teppanyaki grill plate can be used for slower preparation of other foods.
TIPS
·
Defrost frozen food before laying it on the teppanyaki.
·
In order to grill meat adjust the thermostat to maximum and make sure that the appliance is
thoroughly heated before laying the meat on the griddle.
·
If you only need to use a part of the teppanyaki, then place the food in the middle to obtain the ideal
cooking result.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
·
Set the thermostat to minimum (0), remove the plug from the socket and wait until the teppanyaki
has cooled down completely.
·
It is recommended that all food residues be removed with a wooden spatula or a heat-resistant plastic
utensil while the appliance is still hot. If the residues dry up, they will be harder to remove.
·
Do not immerse any part of the teppanyaki plate in water or any other liquid. Should water get on the
electrical contacts, dry them off carefully.
·
Wipe the baking tray clean with a soft cloth or kitchen roll. For the removal of dried food residues, use
a soft sponge with hot water and a small amount of dish-washing detergent.
·
The catch basin for fat and moisture can be removed for easy cleaning. Clean it
in hot water using a mild detergent.
·
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive products or brushes.
