The projection clock always displays the reception intensity of the DCF signal. For this purpose,
the DCF symbol "
" is shown in the display. The DCF symbol presents the reception intensity
in one of 4 levels:
No DCF signal reception
Good DCF signal reception
Please note that you may need to press the "RECEIVE" button to start a manual DCF
signal search.
searching For the dcF time signal manually
You can, at any time, start a manual search for the DCF time signal. Press the "RECEIVE" button.
The reception mode is deactivated automatically after 6-12 minutes.
manual settings: time, date, language For weekday
If the projection clock cannot receive the DCF time signal, the time, date and language for the
weekday can be set manually. Proceed as follows, to set the time, date as well as the language
for the weekday manually:
Press and hold the "SET" button for 2 seconds, while the time is displayed in the display (=
time mode). Following this, the hour display starts to flash.
Press the "ADJUST" button, to set the desired value.
Press the "SET" button, to save the settings and to proceed to the next setting. The setting
sequence is: hour, minute, seconds, 12/24h (time format), day, month, year, language for the
weekday (GB, FR, DE, ES, IT).
Press the "MODE" button, to save the settings and to exit the setting mode.
setting the alarm time:
To set the alarm time, press the "MODE" button to access the alarm setting mode, while the
time is shown in the display (= time mode).
Press and hold the "SET" button down for 2 seconds. Following this, the hour display starts to
flash.
Press the "ADJUST" button, to set the desired value.
Press the "SET" button, to save the settings and to proceed to the next setting. The setting
sequence is: Hour, Minute.
Press the "MODE" button, to save the settings and to exit the setting mode.
actiVating/deactiVating the alarm Function
To activate the alarm function, press the "MODE" button once, while the time is shown in the
display.
Now, press the "ADJUST" button once. The alarm is now activated. The display shows the
alarm symbol "
".
Press the "ADJUST" button again, to also activate the SNOOZE function. Following this, the
symbol "Zz" appears in the display.
Press the "ADJUST" button a third time, to deactivate the alarm function.
deactiVating the alarm/ the snooZe Function
When an alarm signal is emitted it can be suppressed for approx. 4 minutes, by pressing the
"SNOOZE/LIGHT" button. The SNOOZE function can be used a maximum of four times. After us-
ing this function four times, the alarm will not be activated again after 4 minutes, but only on the
following day at the preset alarm time.
Pressing any other button will cancel the active alarm.
background lighting and Projection
If the projection clock is used with the wall plug transformer and batteries at the same
time, the voltage will be supplied automatically via the wall plug transformer. Thus, the
projection remains permanently activated.
Press the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" button once and then the "

vates the projection. To switch off, press briefly the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" push-button.
maintenance and cleaning
Apart from occasionally changing the batteries, the device does not contain any serviceable parts.
Always unplug the wall plug transformer from the projection clock before cleaning.
To clean the outside of the clock, a clean, dry, soft cloth is sufficient.
Clean the clock very carefully, otherwise you may scratch it. Do not use any aggressive cleaning
agents.
Do not press too hard on the display. This may cause it to break.

Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
b) batteries and rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are legally obliged (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries and re-
chargeable batteries; it is prohibited to dispose of them in the household waste.
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with this symbol to indi-
cate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy
metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead.
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries and button cells free of charge to any au-
thorised disposal station in your area, to our stores or to any other store where batteries/storage
batteries/button cells are sold.
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the environment!
