Cause
The signal from the transmitter is
blocked by your body or metallic
objects, etc.
There is a device (microwave oven,
wireless LAN, etc.) outputting signals in
the 2.4 GHz frequency band nearby.
The transmitter is too far from the
speaker unit.
The battery of the iPhone/iPod is low.
The speaker unit is not turned on.
Connection in progress.
The speaker unit and transmitter are
not connected because they are set to
different groups.
The speaker unit or transmitter is
connected to another yAired device.
The protection circuitry has been
activated by excessive volume.
The connected iPod is not supported,
or the iPhone/iPod is not connected
securely.
The speaker unit or transmitter is
connected to another yAired device.
If noise occurs at the same frequency
that the speaker unit and transmitter are
using, they will search for and switch to
another (unused) frequency, which may
cause the sound to stop intermittently.
The battery of the iPhone/iPod is low.
Connection failed, or an error occurred
in the speaker unit or the transmitter.
Remedy
Change the way of holding, the
orientation, or the position of the
transmitter to avoid your body or
metallic objects blocking the signal.
Relocate the speaker unit and transmitter
away from the device.
Move the transmitter closer to the
speaker unit.
Charge the iPhone/iPod.
Connect the AC adaptor and power cable
securely.
Please wait for a while.
Set both the speaker unit and the
transmitter to the same group.
Select a different group by changing the
group selection switches of the speaker
unit and the transmitter.
Turn down the volume.
Use a supported iPod, or connect iPhone/
iPod securely.
Select a different group by changing the
group selection switches of the speaker
unit and the transmitter.
This is not a malfunction. If the sound
stops frequently, relocate the speaker unit
and transmitter away from a device, such
as a Wi‑Fi router.
Charge the iPhone/iPod.
•
Connect the iPhone/iPod securely.
•
Restart the iPhone/iPod.
•
Update the iPhone/iPod firmware to the
latest version.
•
Select a different group by changing
the group selection switches of the
speaker unit and the transmitter.
•
Disconnect the power cable plug, wait
for a while, and then connect the power
cable plug again.
