battery installation
1 Fit four AAA batteries. Unclip the
battery cover on the underside of the
scale by pushing the clip inwards
and then lifting off. Fit the batteries
matching the + and - in the position
as indicated on the scale. Clip the
battery cover back into place.
Note - During use, if the battery
symbol appears in the display, it
means that battery power is low and
the batteries should be replaced. If
the power is too low to use, the
display will show 'Lo' and then turn
off automatically.
to select ounces or grams
When switching on the scale, press
and hold down the button on the
front of the scale. The 'oz' and 'g'
symbols will alternate at the top of
the display. When the desired
symbol is visible release the button.
to weigh
Always place the scale on a dry and
flat surface prior to weighing.
Press the button to switch on. When
the display shows '0', place the item
to be weighed onto the platform.
The weight will appear on the
display.
Note:-
G
The scale will read 'ERR' if it is trying
to weigh above its capacity.
G
The symbol 'H' will appear in the top
left corner of the display, this
indicates that the displayed weight is
stable.
to add and weigh
After the weight is displayed, press
the button once and the display will
return to '0'. Add the next ingredient
and the weight of that ingredient will
be displayed. This can be repeated
until all the ingredients are weighed.
Note:-

The maximum weighing capacity is 3
Kg/6 lb 9 oz. This is the total weight
of all ingredients plus the weight of
the container.
auto switch off:
Automatic switch off will occur if the
scale shows the same weight
reading for 3 minutes.
manual switch off:
To conserve the battery power,
switch off the scale when not in use.
To do this press and hold down the
button for 3 seconds.
cleaning
Do not immerse the scale in water.
Wipe over the scale with a damp
cloth, then dry thoroughly. Do not
use abrasive or chemical agents to
clean.
important

The scale is for domestic use only.
G
Do not overload the scale by
exceeding the maximum weighing
capacity of 3Kg/ 6 lb 9 oz as this
may damage the weighing sensor.

Do not place hot food or hot
containers such as saucepans onto
the weighing platform.
G
Do not subject the scale to
excessive force.
G
Do not stand the scale near an oven
or other direct source of heat.
G
Do not allow the scale to come into
contact with strongly
flavoured/coloured food or acids
such as the zest from citrus fruits
which could damage the plastic
surface of the scale.
