GENERAL SAFETY CONDITIONS
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Never leave the appliance unsupervised, espe-
cially if it is in use near children or cognitively
impaired persons.
• Do not place the appliance near any walls, furni-
ture... or flammable objects.
• Orient the satellite dish facing a space clear of
any vegetation or any other flammable elements
to avoid any risk of fire.
• Turn the parabola down after each cooking to
switch off the appliance.
• Be sure to protect your eyes from solar reflec-
tion with a pair of sunglasses.
• Always swivel the parabola of the barbecue and
orient it with its back to the sun when handling
your dishes.
• Always use suitable containers
• Always fill your stockpots halfway to prevent
boiling liquids from overflowing (water, oil, etc.).
• Always use gloves or potholders for handling
your dishes as well as the barbecue (especially
the metal parts).
• Do not use coal or any other fuel in this
appliance.
• Ensure that the appliance is placed on a flat and
stable surface.
• In the presence of wind, be sure to fix your
barbecue to the ground.
• Do not use in a closed room or indoors.
IMPORTANT: Use and storage
• Please note that the SunGlobe® is not intended to
remain outdoors. It has precise optics, take care to
protect it by putting it away after each use.
• Storage: It is possible to separate the 2 legs of
the barbecue from the dish without completely
dismantling your SunGlobe® in order to be able
to fix it to the wall of your garage for example.
GUARANTEE
This warranty is issued by Solar Brother and is
granted to the ultimate purchaser of the product.
Solar Brother warrants that the SunGlobe® is
free from defects in materials, design and work-
manship at the time of purchase by the customer.
The warranty period is 2 years from the date of
purchase by the customer. It cannot be extended
in the event that the product is repaired or
replaced. Solar Brother may, however, require the
purchaser to provide proof of purchase in good
and due form. The latter should therefore retain
their sales receipt or invoice and immediately
return the Solar Brother Limited Warranty Regis-
tration Card. This limited warranty applies only to
the repair or replacement of parts found to be
defective under normal use and service and
determined as such by Solar Brother after exami-
nation. After certification of the defect and
approval of the claim, Solar Brother undertakes to
repair or replace the parts in question free of
charge. If you are asked to return the defective
parts, you must however pay the transport costs.
Solar Brother undertakes to return the parts to
the purchaser at his expense.
SolarBrother guarantees the replacement of all
components of the SunGlobe® which are defec-
tive at the time of purchase by the customer,
except for cases resulting from circumstances
not foreseen during normal use, such as those
described in this manual. Exclusions include
unauthorized repair attempts, modifications, use
of the Sunglobe® for purposes inconsistent with
its intended purpose, careless handling, exposure
to adverse weather conditions, or immersion in
liquids.
The barbecueSunglobe® is manufactured
and designed under the French sun.
