Setting the thermostat
The thermostat automatically regulates the temperature inside the refrigerator and frozen
compartment (if present).
•
The normal temperature setting is position 4.
•
Set a higher temperature by turning the knob to setting 1, 2 or 3.
•
Set a lower temperature by turning the knob to setting 5, 6 or 7.
•
At position 0, the refrigerator is off.
The recommended temperature of the refrigerator compartment is 4 °C and the
recommended temperature of the frozen compartment is -18 °C.
For appliances with a frozen compartment: a setting between '4' and '7' is advised when
frozen products are stored for a longer period.
For appliances with a frozen compartment: set a lower temperature (a setting between '5'
and '7' ) if the ambient temparature is less than 16 °C.
