Troubleshooting
Occasionally a problem may arise that is minor in nature, and a service call may not be neccessary. Use this trou-
bleshooting guide for a possible solution. If the unit continues to operate improperly, call an authorized service depot or
Danby's Toll Free Number 1-800-263-2629 for assistance.
PROBLEM
The air conditioner doesn't start.
The LCD displays the number of
time, but it doesn't work.
Although it was set to COOL
mode, there is no cool air.
Although it was set to DRY
mode, there is no cool air.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
• The power supply is incorrect.
• The power plug is incorrect.
• There is a malfunction with the power
plug or socket.
• The fuse is blown.
• Is the TIMER ON in operation?
• The room temperature is lower than the
set temperature.
• The evaporator is frosted up.
• The evaporator is frosted up.
• Low voltage over current protection.
The water tank gets full.

SOLUTION
• Insert the power plug tightly.
• Replace the power plug or socket.
• Call the service depot.
• Cancel the "SET TIMER" operation
or wait for the unit to run in "AUTO".
• This is the normal phenomenon.
• Unit is running in defrosting operation,
it will resume running in normal
operation after defrosting.
• Unit is running in defrosting operation,
it will resume running in normal
operation after defrosting.
• Turn off the unit and unplug the unit from
the power, after 10 minutes turn on the
unit. If the display is still the same
please call the service depot.
• Drain the tank.
• If the malfunction still exists, please call
the service dept.
