The stool must be placed on a smooth,
level and stable footing.
When positioning the stool, take into
consideration the risk of collision with
pedestrians, vehicles or doors. Lock doors
(not emergency exits) and windows in the
work area, where possible.
The stool must be placed on its feet, not
upside down.
The stool must not be placed on slippery
surfaces (for example, ice, glossy or
heavily soiled surfaces) unless additional
measures are taken to prevent it from
slipping.
Do not exceed the maximum load for the
stool.
Do not overreach.
Do not get off the stool at a higher level
without additional safety measures.
Do not stack stools to reach higher up.
Stools should only be used for simple jobs
for short periods.

Use stools that do not conduct electricity
