Snooze settings
• When an alarm sounds, press the [SNOOZE] button (5) to stop the buzzer or radio alarm. The alarm will sound
again after about 9 minutes. The SNOOZE function can be repeated within 1 hour from the set alarm time.
• D uring the time when SNOOZE function is activated, the corresponding alarm indicator will flash.
• T o switch off the SNOOZE function, simply press [RADIO] button (8) once. The alarm indicator will stop
flashing and the alarm will not sound again until the set time on the next day.
Sleep timer settings
• W hen you're listening to the radio, press the [SLEEP] button (5). The display shows "90" (for 90 minutes).
Press the [SLEEP] button (5) repeatedly until the display shows your desired SLEEP time period. The time
period is shown on the display in sequence as: 90 > 80 > 70 > 60 > 50 > 40 > 30 > 20 > 10 > OFF.
• 2 seconds after the desired SLEEP period is chosen, the display will change back to show the current time,
and the radio will play for the SLEEP time duration you have set and then turn off automatically.
• P ress the [SLEEP] button (5) again during SLEEP mode and the display will show the remaining time of
the SLEEP period. The SLEEP time can also be adjusted by pressing the [SLEEP] button (5).
• T o switch off the SLEEP timer function during SLEEP mode, press the [SLEEP] button (5) repeatedly till
the OFF option or press the [RADIO] button (8).
Note: the Sleep Timer function can be used without problems in combination with a set alarm(s).
Radio operation
• P ress the [RADIO] button (8) once to turn ON the radio. The radio receives a FM band and the LED display
indicates the frequency. After 3 seconds, the LED display will change back to show the time.
• A djust the volume by pressing the [VOLUME+/-] buttons (6/7).
• Tune into the desired station by either of the 2 following methods:
- Manual Tuning: Use the [◄ / ►] buttons (2/3) until the desired station is reached.
- Auto Scanning: Press and hold either the [◄] or [►] button (2/3) for more than 2 seconds to start auto
scan. Scanning will stop automatically when a clear radio signal is found. Repeat the same procedure by
using the same button until your desired station is found.
Note: To stop auto scanning, press any button once.
• T o turn off the radio, press the [RADIO] (8).
Note: The current station and volume level will be memorized when the radio is turned off. Once you turn on
the radio again, the memorized station will be broadcasted at the memorized volume level.
Preset stations
• In radio mode, tune into a radio station (see above).
• Press and hold the [TIME/PROGRAM] button (1) for more than 2 seconds until preset number appears and
flashes.
• You can then choose the preset position (F01~F10) by pressing the [TU+/-] buttons (2/3).
• Press once [TIME/PROGRAM] (1) button, or wait 8 seconds, to set the preset.
• Repeat these steps until all 10 are set preset stations.
• To recall a memorized preset station press the [TIME/PROGRAM] button (1) repeatedly till you reached the
desired number.
Note: The HCG007 can store up to 10 preset stations.
Back up battery
Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. In the event of a power interruption or if
unplugged, your time settings will be saved for a short period of time.
