The valve casing (3) is sealed with an O-Ring.
Take care that both O-Rings (4 + 5) are mounted
on the top replacement (see fig. 3b and 4b) and
that the thread on the top piece as well as the
sealing area adjacent to the O-ring on the valve
casing (3) is shiny metal and clean.
The connecting pipes should be thoroughly
flushed through before fitting the replacement
top (2) JRG Code 1045/1048.
Fit the top and without forcing, tighten by normal
hand strength using the wrench.
Close the drain valve of the application. Fill the
application device by opening the shut off valve
slowly and start it.
Function check
By turning the air-vent nut (1) in the direction
of the arrow, the functionality of the safety valve
can be checked.
Regular function check
The function check described above must be
carried out twice a year by the user of the
system. Flush the valve by letting it run for
5-10 seconds.

contact your sanitary contractor.
The instructions for installation, operation and
maintenance are to be given to the building
owner when handing over the installation.
