Device box supports CI820-DX

starting installation.

Installation instructions:
1. Trace a cutout rectangle on the drywall at the desired location using the 2-3/8 by 3-1/4 stamped lines. Use a
drywall saw to carefully cut out the traced rectangle (Figure 1).
2. Pull cables through the drywall opening. Secure cables to the electrical box* (Figure 2).
3. Snap a CI820-DX into place on each side of the opening (Figure 3).
4. Push the electrical box into the opening. Bend the CI820-DX retaining tabs over the sides of the box and
clamp into place (Figure 4). The box is secured in place.
5. Install the electrical device. Figure 5 shows the back side of the box once installed.
* Purchased separately - Only use device boxes with mounting ears.
