TIMER:
The timer can be operated in two ways.
To turn off the unit:
Press the timer button to turn on the timer function. Press UP/DOWN repeatedly to set the duration
time.
To turn the device on:
Press the timer button to turn on the timer function. Press UP/DOWN repeatedly to set the duration
time.
To cancel the timer:
Press UP/DOWN repeatedly until the LED reads '00'. Note: The timer can also be turned off by pressing
POWER.
AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING
At low room temperatures, frost may accumulate on the evaporator. The unit will then automatically
begin defrosting (POWER LED flashes.)
OVERLOAD PROTECTION
In case of power failure, to protect the compressor there is a 3 minute delay until the unit restarts.
SELF EVAPORATING SYSTEM AND WATER TANK:
The self-evaporating system uses the collected water to cool the condenser coils for better
performance. The condensation water evaporates at the condenser and is discharged through the
exhaust hose. The drain tank only needs to be emptied manually in case of high humidity.
Emptying the water tank:
1. Make sure the unit is turned off and unplugged.
2. Remove the cap from the water drain opening and store it in a safe place.
3. Connect the drain hose to the drain opening, making sure it is not kinked or blocked.
4.
Place the outlet of the hose over a drain or bucket and make sure water can flow freely out
the unit.
