Headband Suspensions

The ES-ULTRA, ESDC, ESRBY, ESRT S L s u s p e n s i o n s
fit Bullard's Model 302, 302RT, 303,911C, 911H, FH911 ,
F H 5 1 0 0 P and 3000 hard hats/caps.
B u l l a r d 's Hard Boiled
suspension disengaged from the shell to prevent distortion
during shipping. The suspension must be correctly
installed according to the instructions to assure proper
fit and protection.
Bullard hard hats/caps meet ANSI Standard Z89.1-1997.

- Page 3 Standard Suspensions (Models ES-ULTRA, ESDC, ESRBY) Adjusting the Suspension Size 1.Unsnap sizing posts on each side headband. Slide headband forward to decrease size (Figure 7). 2. With the posts unsnapped, place hard hat on your head. Pull hard hat down allowing headband to expand until it feels comfortable. DO NOTOVERTIGHTEN.
- Page 4 Sure-Lock Ratchet Suspension (Model ESRTSL) ® Adjusting the Suspension Size 1. Turn ratchet knob counterclockwise until headband opens to largest size. 2. Place hard hat on your head. Turn ratchet knob clockwise until headband is comfortable (Figure 3). DONOTOVERTIGHTEN. Adjusting the Suspension for Vertical Fit The headband may be raised or lowered in the front and/or back by repositioning the hanger keys (Figures 4-5).
