SHOWER
1. To activate, pull down on the triangular pull rod in
one swift motion. The pull rod will open the 1" ball
valve and allow water to flow through the shower
head. (See Figure 3)

NOTE: The valve will stay open and allow
the shower to operate "hands-free" and
continuously until the valve is manually
closed.
2. To deactivate, push up on the pull rod to return it to
the stored position. This will close the 1" ball valve
and turn off the shower.
WEEKLY ACTIVATION
IMPORTANT! ANSI Z358.1-2014 requires that
emergency equipment be activated at least
weekly to ensure proper operation. Weekly
inspections are required to verify performance
standards listed below:
• Ensure that there is sufficient water delivered
to the emergency unit for effective operation.
• Flush out any buildup of sediment or other
impurities in the water lines that could
prevent the unit from operating effectively.

OPERATION
EYEWASH
1. To activate, push the pedal back in one swift motion.
The pedal will open the 1/2" ball valve and allow
water to flow through the eyewash. (See Figure 4)

2. To deactivate the eyewash, pull the pedal back to
the original position. This will close the 1/2" ball valve
and turn off the eyewash.
