SYMBOLS ON THE PRODUCT
An identifi cation label is applied on the product.
The symbols on the label are defi ned in detail in section 11.4 of this user's manual.
1.3 AFTER SALE WARRANTY
Aria Wheels guarantees the absence of defects and the functionality of its postural backrests. The warranty
covers defects that arise from manufacturing, the use of bad quality materials or the inappropriate working of
these. The warranty rights towards Aria Wheels S.r.l.s. can only be executed by the seller, and not the user of
the product.
The commercial warranty does not cover the normal wear, damages or faults that come directly or indirectly
from accidents, falls, collisions, improper use, insuffi cient maintenance and alterations made by non authorised
personnel.
The parts subject to wear and particular consumption are not covered by warranty. The warranty falls if any
unexpected alterations are made to the wheelchair, or if alterations are made with inadequate or unoriginal
parts. In case of not authorized alterations, the warranty does not cover the costs arising from the elimination of
the defect such as shipping costs, labour costs, expenses etc.
The warranty has a duration of 24 (twenty-four) months starting from the date of invoice.
All the components not manufactured by Aria Wheels S.r.l.s. have a warranty from their own manufacturer.
Moreover, the terms and conditions are an integral part of the general and specifi c conditions for the individual
countries in which the product is commercialised.
1.4 OVERVIEW
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The best way to avoid problems related to pressure sores is to understand their causes and your role in a
skin management program. Your therapist and physician should be consulted if you have questions regarding
individual limitations and needs.
All back cushions should be selected carefully. Working with your therapist and physician is the best way
to assure that a cushion choice matches your individualneeds. As the needs of the individual become more
complex, the evaluation becomes more important.
ARIA® BACKREST
The ARIA® POSTURAL BACKREST is contoured to provide precise orientation within the wheelchair for
optimal postural support. The foam is oversized to provide extra comfort and protection. TThe ARIA®
POSTURAL BACKREST includes a movable foam lumbar pad that can be installed/inserted behind the existing
foam cushion to provide additional positioning capability.
OUTER COVER
The outer cover is made of a breathable spacer mesh, combined with a leatherette material for added
durability. Regular cleaning and inspection of the outer cover is recommended. Refer to Section 5.0 -Care and
Maintenance.
