Module configuration
The module is configured using the DIP switch 8:
•
If DIP switch 8 is ON the module operates as a supervised
relay module.
•
If DIP switch 8 is OFF the module operates as a sounder
module.
The relay output provides only the voltage received from the
auxiliary power supply (24 VDC) – ensure that this is sufficient
for your installation.
The module will only allow sounders to be silenced from the
control panel if configured to operate as a sounder module (the
default setting).
Output connections
A maximum of 8 solenoid bells may be connected to the
supervised line. A 15 kΩ end-of-line resistor must be installed
at the end of the supervised line.
Addressing
Each module requires a numeric address between 128 and
252 for identification purposes. This is set using DIP switches
1-7. See the address table at the end of this document.
Status LED
The status LED is lit constantly during alarm.
Maintenance and testing
Basic maintenance consists of a yearly inspection. Do not
modify internal wiring or circuitry.
To test the module:
1.
Configure the module as an output to be activated by a
detector or manual call point.
2.
Remove a detector head from its base or activate a
manual call point.
3.
If the status LED and control panel fail to indicate the test
all connections should be checked and the module
address verified.

tierra.
Una fuente de alimentación auxiliar debe proporcionar
alimentación de 24 V al módulo.
