Before first Use
Unpack the digital piercing thermometer and check it for
any damage in transit. Dispose of packaging materials or
store them out of reach of children. Plastic bags etc. may
become a deadly toy for children!
Temperature Measurements
1. Before measuring, make sure the temperature probe (1)
is clean and without any damage.
2. Press the ON/OFF key (3) to switch on the thermome-
ter. For approx. 1 second, all symbols appear on the
display (4). The display turns to zero and then it shows
the currently measured temperature of the temperature
probe. Measure the temperature of the object to be
tested.
3. Press the unit selection key °C/°F (2) to select whether
the measured temperature is displayed in the unit °C
or °F.
4. Press the HOLD key (5) to hold the current reading on
the display. The "HOLD" icon flashes on the display as
an indication.
Press the HOLD key again. The max. measured tem-
perature reading is displayed. The "MAX" icon flashes
on the display.
Press the HOLD key once more. The min. measured
temperature reading is displayed. The "MIN" icon flash-
es on the display.
