Your N-Gage QD MMC Expander lets you:
• Double the number of MMC cards in your N-Gage game deck
• Switch easily between your favourite games
• Easy access to games on the Nokia N-Gage QD
GETTING ST RTED GETTING ST RTED
The N-Gage QD MMC Expander is easy to operate. The N-Gage QD MMC Expander replaces
the existing battery cover and will provide easy switching between MMC cards.
1 Installing MMC Expander
Make sure that your N-Gage QD is turned off before replacing the battery cover and
remove any MMC card in the N-Gage QD before you begin.
Press the release button on the battery cover and slide off the battery cover.
(See fig. 2.)
To install the N-Gage QD MMC Expander, insert the MMC Expander into the MMC card slot
on the game deck. Then press the MMC Expander to cover the battery and snap on to
replace the battery cover. Insert MMC card in the N-Gage QD MMC Expander.

Note: If you only insert 1 MMC card, please make sure that the slide button points to
the correct card (See fig. 4.)

Remove/Insert MMC cards

Important: Do not remove the card in the middle of an operation when
is blinking in the top right corner of the display. Removing the card in
the middle of an operation may damage the memory card as well as the
device, and data stored on the card may be corrupted.

Important: Use only N-Gage compatible MMC cards. For more information about
compatible MMC cards please refer to your N-Gage user guide.

Switching between MMC cards
As with the removal of the MMC card (as described above) you must use the Remove
mem. Card function in the N-Gage QD menu. Otherwise you can damage both the card
and the device.

inserted).

3 You have now switched between the two MMC cards.
