ENG portable air conditioner instruction guide
Thank you for purchasing the analog
portable air conditi oner (item # ACAN14).
This unit features cooling, dehumidifying,
and auto mode operati on. Setti ng up the
portable air conditi oner requires minimal
installati on eff ort.
When operati ng as an air conditi oner, this
unit is designed for spot cooling, opti mal
for a room no larger than 100 square feet
with a standard ceiling height of 8 feet . Use
in gardening applicati ons should not exceed
(2) 1,000 watt air cooled lighti ng systems.
For opti mal CO
supplementati on, this unit

should cycle off during the CO
schedule .
The unit incorporates a power outage auto
reset functi on and will automati cally restore
the last setti ng of operati on selected prior
to the power outage. If using a cycle ti mer,
please allow a minimum three minute
interval of off ti me before cycling the
compressor back on. Failure to do so may
damage the operati on.

• Before installing and using the portable
air conditi oner, please review this
manual, including the following safety
recommendati ons:
• Do not place the unit in any positi on
besides verti cal/upright, even temporarily
or for storage .
• Wait three minutes before restarti ng
cooling mode if the unit is turned off or
power is lost .
• Never place or use fl ammable vapors or
liquids near the unit.
• Maintain at least 10 inches of clearance
around the unit . Do not cover or block air
fl ow through the inlet or outer grilles, as
doing so may result in internal damage to
the unit .

1 . Determine where to install the air
conditi oner, which must be near a
window (if you are using the included
window kit; otherwise, we recommend

2 . Clear and clean the windowsill where
you will install the air conditi oner.

6 . Twist both ends of the exhaust hose
counter clockwise, fi tti ng one end into
