Foxy ethanol sensor

1 General
The Ethanol sensor combined with the ethanol probe (ref. 453084 not
supplied) measures the concentration of ethanol in air (%) or in water (in
mg/L). It is particularly suited to experiments involving cellular metabolism,
such as alcoholic fermentation of yeasts.
2 Use
The Ethanol sensor can be used in stand alone or connected mode.
2.1 Connection to the console
- Align the unit with the chosen measuring channel.
- Engage the unit on the console guide.
- Push well home.

2.2 Connection of the probe
The sensor is used with the ethanol probe ref. 453084. The probe is
connected using the 5 pin DIN socket located on top of the sensor.
2.3 Stand-alone mode
Connect the probe to the sensor 5 minutes before use: the temperature must
be stabilised prior to calibration. During this period, an arrow flashes under the
egg timer in the display.
