- Do not use cord as a handle.
- Do not pull cord to unplug appliance or carry appliance by the cord.
- Do not close a door on cord or pull cord around sharp edges or corners, do not operate
charger over cord.
- Do not place this charger, adapter or cord on or near a heat surface.
- Do not immerse tool, cord, charger or adapter in water or any liquid or use if cord/plug is
wet.
- Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
- Do not use an extension cord with this unit.
IV. GETTING STARTED
UNPACKING
- Remove tool from its packaging.
- Check that tool and accessories are not damaged.
ACCESSORIES
The product is delivered with:
- 1 saw chain grinder
- 1 transformer
- 1 charger
- 1 collet wrench
CHARGING THE BATTERY
Only use the charger and adapter/transformer provided:
1. Place switch [5] on "off" position « 0 ».
2. Squeeze release tabs [9] on both sides of battery pack.
3. Remove battery pack from back of tool [8].
4. Insert battery pack [8] into charger [11]. Align marks [6] on battery pack with marks on
charger.
5. Connect inlet [12] to the transformer [13].
6. Plug transformer into the power source (230V ~).
7. The green LED light indicates connection has been made and the battery pack is
charging.
8. Under normal usage the battery pack requires 3 hours charging time to reach full
capacity.
9. Do not charge battery for more than 3.5 hours.
10. When charging is completed, unplug transformer.
11. Remove battery pack from charger.
12. Insert battery pack in back of the tool. Align marks on battery pack with marks on the
housing of tool as shown.
13. Check that release tabs are locked in place.
INSERT or CHANGE a GRINDER or a COLLET.
